IDR is seeking a Data Scientist to join an opportunity in Raleigh, NC. This role is focused on building and implementing data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making and deliver measurable business impact within a dynamic environment that values collaboration and innovation.
Position Overview for the Data Scientist:
- Perform descriptive and diagnostic analyses on large-scale datasets to uncover trends and insights that inform product and business strategy
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define data requirements, and establish key metrics
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end data pipelines using Python or PySpark
- Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau
- Conduct hypothesis-driven exploratory analysis to solve complex business problems
Requirements for the Data Scientist:
- Strong expertise in Python for data analysis (e.g., Pandas, Polars)
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working in relational databases
- Experience performing descriptive and diagnostic analytics on large datasets
- Proven ability to build end-to-end data pipelines using Python and/or PySpark
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
