IDR is seeking a Senior Software Developer (backend) to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves building and optimizing backend services and APIs within a large healthcare organization focused on digital transformation and automation. The position offers a chance to work on mission-critical projects, especially in the healthcare and pharmacy/medical claims space, supporting cutting-edge enterprise applications.
Position Overview for the Senior Software Developer (backend):
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend application components using C# and SQL, emphasizing performance and reliability
Build and support APIs, services, and data access layers that integrate with enterprise systems and third-party platforms
Contribute to architecture decisions and automation solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and patterns
Collaborate in an Agile environment with product owners, developers, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning within cloud environments, particularly Azure
Requirements for the Senior Software Developer (backend):
Strong experience developing enterprise applications with C#/.NET and SQL
Demonstrated ability to design scalable APIs and integration solutions with RESTful APIs
Advanced SQL skills, including query tuning, stored procedures, and handling large datasets
Knowledge of DevOps practices and Azure cloud platform deployment and monitoring
Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment supporting production applications
