IDR is seeking a AWS Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Seattle, WA. This role involves supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based data solutions within a fast-paced environment, focusing on building scalable and secure data infrastructure using AWS services. The company operates in the technology and data engineering industry, delivering innovative cloud solutions.
Position Overview for the AWS Data Engineer :
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure within AWS environments
- Develop and manage data solutions using AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, Athena, and Lambda
- Build, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure components including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPCs
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes using AWS native tools and scripting (Python)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders
Requirements for the AWS Data Engineer :
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation
- Must-have experience with Amazon Redshift
- Experience with AWS Glue, Athena, and Lambda
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes
