Position Overview/Responsibilities for the UI Engineering Manager:
Lead and manage a team of 8-15 UI developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user interfaces.
Define and implement software architecture, collaborating with other teams to assess existing systems and identify potential risks.
Translate wireframes into functional requirements and develop well-abstracted, reusable, high-performance code for UI components.
Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, responsive, and interactive interfaces.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of user interfaces, software architecture, and the adoption of new technologies.
Required Skills for UI Engineering Manager:
8-10+ years of hands-on UI development experience.
Proven experience managing teams and working in onshore-offshore environments.
Proficient in web markup languages, including HTML5 and CSS3, and familiar with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms like LESS and SASS.
Strong understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and AngularJS.
Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative environments.
