Position Summary/Key Responsibilities for Solutions Architect:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the solutions you're responsible for.
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses across the entire solution landscape.
- Understand the relationships between solution components and external systems.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for critical (P1) issues and provide remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the safe and sustainable delivery of the vision.
- Maintain visibility into the product roadmap and ensure technical pathways align with business objectives.
- Take ownership of addressing and mitigating architectural technical debt.
- Lead the creation and prioritization of work items in the backlog.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering, and other teams to improve solutions and create modern architectures.
- Support the development of reference architectures, POCs, and the implementation of scalable, best-practice standards across teams.
Qualifications for Solutions Architect:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 15+ years experience in architecture and design
- 5+ years experience in software development in Java/Kotlin/C#
- 5+ years experience in microservices architecture and APIs, Internet gateways Gateways and APIMs
- 3+ years experience as a Team Lead
- In-depth knowledge of application security best practices
- Experience in building highly available systems
- Experience with databases and queries
- Experience with multi-threading and concurrency
