IDR is seeking a Scrum Master for a REMOTE, DIRECT HIRE opportunity. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background as a Scrum Master paired with excellent leadership skills and SQL experience. Position Overview for the Scrum Master:
- Guide & Mentor the team on Agile/Scrum practices
- Provide communication and status updates to key stakeholders
- Backlog grooming - Sprint establishment
- Ensure standard documentation is properly tracked
- Provide direction and delegation to the Scrum team
- Fill in the gaps left in the Scrum approach by utilizing Burndown techniques and retrospective formats
- Identify and remove road blocks
Required Skills and Experience for the Scrum Master:
- 5+ years working as a Scrum Master
- Well-rounded knowledge of Agile principles and KanBan
- Experience creating and prioritizing User Stories in conjunction with the Product Owner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong coaching and mentorship experience
- Proven experience in conflict resolution
- Excellent leadership skills
- Scrum Master certification desired
