IDR is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves providing advanced-level customer support within a highly regulated healthcare environment, focusing on order processing, customer interactions, and issue resolution. The company is a leading manufacturer in the medical device industry, committed to delivering exceptional service and support to its clients.
Position Overview for the Customer Support Specialist:
- Perform accurate order entry, manage inbound inquiries, and document customer interactions thoroughly.
- Serve as a resource for team members, answering process/system questions and reinforcing adherence to policies.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues, coordinating resolution across internal teams.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members on processes, systems, and standards.
- Assist in monitoring workflow, prioritizing requests, and reporting on service metrics and improvement opportunities.
Requirements for the Customer Support Specialist:
- High school diploma (or equivalent); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex customer inquiries, problem-solve, and bring issues to resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and compliance requirements consistently.
