Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Database Administrator II:
Develop and implement comprehensive migration strategies from Netsmart's myAvatar EHR to a new SaaS model EHR, including data assessment, cleansing, and mapping.
Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, including clinical data management and security.
Conduct rigorous testing of the migration process, including creating and executing Unit test scripts, managing test scenarios, analyzing test results, and debugging issues.
Provide regular updates on the migration progress to all project stakeholders.
Facilitate the smooth transition to the new system by providing strategic oversight and support post-migration.
Required Skills for Database Administrator II:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in database management systems and data migration, particularly in healthcare EHR systems like Netsmart myAvatar.
Proficiency in utilizing Informix, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server SQL and database scripting to facilitate effective data migration processes.
Strong business analysis skills, including reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user requirements, operational procedures, and identifying solutions to automate processes or enhance system functionality.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, essential for producing clear project documentation and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of current IT industry trends and market insights, applying them strategically within the organization.
