IDR is seeking a Tester to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you will focus on performance and load testing for enterprise-scale applications, helping ensure systems remain stable, responsive, and scalable under real-world demand. You’ll partner with engineering and QA teams within a large, highly regulated organization to deliver clear test results and actionable performance insights.

Position Overview for the Tester:

• Design, script, and execute performance, load, and stress tests for critical applications and services
• Build and maintain performance test plans, scenarios, and test data to reflect realistic usage patterns
• Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimization opportunities
• Produce clear online and batch load test completion reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with QA, developers, and project teams to support release readiness and quality outcomes

Requirements for the Tester:

• Hands-on experience with performance/load testing in complex application environments
• Strong proficiency with JMeter for scripting and executing performance tests
• Experience using JProfiler (or similar profiling tools) to diagnose performance issues
• Ability to analyze results, interpret performance metrics, and document findings clearly
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally in QA/engineering teams
