IDR is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join one of our top clients for remote opportunity. The organization specializes in developing and maintaining complex government systems, focusing on eligibility and enrollment processes. The role offers the opportunity to work on Java-based applications utilizing technologies like Spring and Hibernate, supporting critical systems in a collaborative environment. Position Overview for the Senior Java Developer:
- Support the development and maintenance of Maine’s Eligibility and Enrollment systems.
- Perform technical duties including developing enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and advising on technical design.
- Collaborate with functional and testing teams throughout the SDLC to ensure system stability and improvements.
- Work on Java-based systems utilizing Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle databases.
- Support the ongoing support of critical government systems in a remote setting with a preference for local talent.
Requirements for the Senior Java Developer:
- Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of Spring Batch is required.
- Prior experience supporting Eligibility and Enrollment (E&E) systems is preferred.
- Ability to develop, troubleshoot, and support Java systems throughout the SDLC.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
