IDR is seeking a SAP IS-U Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you’ll partner with business and technical stakeholders to analyze utility customer service processes, document requirements, and drive improvements across SAP IS-U operations. This is a great opportunity to contribute as a functional SME supporting device management and service order workflows within a large, complex utility environment.

Position Overview for the SAP IS-U Business Analyst:

• Serve as a functional SME supporting utility customer service operations within SAP IS-U
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate needs into actionable technical requirements
• Support device management and service order processes, including lifecycle tracking and exception resolution
• Collaborate cross-functionally (business, field, and technical teams) to optimize workflows, testing, and implementation
• Support operational reporting, governance/compliance needs, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements for the SAP IS-U Business Analyst:

• Advanced experience supporting utility customer service operations and SAP IS-U utility processes
• Strong expertise in device management and service orders (including troubleshooting exceptions and end-to-end process flows)
• Working knowledge of Meter Data Management (MDM) systems and field/operations support tooling
• Proven ability to produce clear business process documentation and detailed functional requirements
• Ability to support a remote role with periodic travel (approximately 25%) and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams
