IDR is seeking an AV Engineering Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role involves overseeing the design and engineering of advanced AV systems supporting multiple event spaces in a corporate environment. The organization specializes in audio-visual integration within high-profile commercial spaces, focusing on innovative broadcast and network solutions.

Position Overview for the AV Engineering Project Manager:

• Lead the planning, design, and engineering of AV systems including central rack rooms and digital AV networks supporting multiple event spaces.
• Coordinate engineering efforts across AV, backend, and network teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, risks, and resources to meet critical milestones.
• Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and stakeholder communications to ensure project alignment and success.
• Support end-to-end project lifecycle, including documentation, testing, deployment, and closeout activities.

Requirements for the AV Engineering Project Manager:

• Proven experience designing and engineering AV systems, especially in the context of central rack rooms and digital AV networks supporting multiple event spaces.
• Deep expertise in AV broadcasting technologies, including IPTV and the ST2110 network standard.
• Strong project management skills, including stakeholder management and technical coordination across multiple teams.
• Ability to lead technical design reviews, workshops, and planning sessions efficiently.
• Experience managing complex AV projects in fast-paced environments, with effective risk mitigation strategies.
