IDR is seeking a Global Foundation Support, Sub – Saharan Africa to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role supports international foundation partnerships within the nonprofit, healthcare, or global development industries, focusing on strengthening fundraising and organizational capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Position Overview for the Global Foundation Support, Sub – Saharan Africa:

• Acts as a secondary point of contact for ALSAC’s global foundation partners in Sub-Saharan Africa, providing comprehensive support to senior regional liaisons.
• Assists in planning and executing foundation assessments and participates in workshops to foster strategic growth.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge in the CRM related to revenue, education opportunities, and challenges faced by partners.
• Supports program development including drafting language for programs and creating assessment reports.
• Organizes logistics for travel, workshops, and events both domestically and internationally, ensuring seamless execution.

Requirements for the Global Foundation Support, Sub – Saharan Africa:

• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent public speaking abilities.
• Demonstrated skill working within a complex environment at senior levels, with strong planning, organization, and management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners across cultures.
• Clear understanding of global cultures and experience in global work, including regional awareness.
• Fluency in French or Portuguese, with experience in data entry, note-taking, and supporting leaders preferred.
