IDR is seeking a Sr AI/Data Platform Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Seattle, WA. This role involves designing and developing AI-powered applications and scalable data services within a leading technology environment. The position primarily focuses on leveraging cloud-native architectures and enterprise metadata platforms to enhance data discovery, search, and analytics capabilities.
Position Overview for the Sr AI/Data Platform Engineer:
Design and develop AI-driven applications utilizing AWS services such as Bedrock and SageMaker.
Architect and implement secure, high-performance data access layers and APIs with AWS tools including Lambda, API Gateway, and containers.
Build scalable, secure service layers to expose Redshift-based data lakes and enterprise metadata systems.
Lead innovative AI initiatives like natural language interfaces, intelligent search, and automated data classification.
Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of data platforms.
Requirements for the Sr AI/Data Platform Engineer:
Strong proficiency in Python and modern API development (REST and GraphQL).
Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and cloud-native application architectures.
Deep experience building high-performance, scalable services using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, containers).
Solid background in MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Experience integrating machine learning frameworks, large language models (LLMs), and vector search technologies.
