IDR is seeking a Business Analyst, Developer Experience to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role focuses on partnering with engineering teams to measure and improve developer productivity and experience through analytics and performance metrics. The organization operates within the technology and software development industry, emphasizing collaboration, process improvement, and engineering excellence.

Position Overview for the Business Analyst, Developer Experience:

• The role involves analyzing engineering and developer workflows to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, managers, and product owners.
• Implement and maintain software delivery performance metrics using tools such as LinearB, Sleuth, or custom dashboards.
• Support the development and enhancement of internal developer platforms and tools.
• Help shape processes in a relatively new focus area to improve developer experience and productivity.

Requirements for the Business Analyst, Developer Experience:

• 5+ years experience in a similar role or environment.
• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) like Backstage.
• Experience with engineering analytics platforms (LinearB, Jellyfish, Haystack).
• Familiarity with developer tooling ecosystems (IDEs, Git workflows, CI/CD).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
