IDR is seeking an Azure DevOps Build Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Mechanicsburg, PA. This role involves supporting a modern software development environment within the technology and cloud services industry. The position offers the chance to work on designing and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure, and enhancing build and release processes using Azure DevOps and related tools.
Position Overview for the Azure DevOps Build Engineer
Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines optimized for .NET Core/.NET 8+, Angular SPA, and Blazor components.
Automate and manage cloud infrastructure hosting these stacks (Azure App Services, Static Web Apps, AKS) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Manage version control repositories and centralize package management via Azure Repos and Azure Artifacts.
Integrate static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and automated testing into deployment pipelines.
Provide real-time troubleshooting and support during deployment windows and critical project phases.
Requirements for the Azure DevOps Build Engineer:
Expert-level experience with Azure DevOps Services, including Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Test Plans.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Azure Bicep.
Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, such as Azure App Services, Azure Container Instances, Azure Static Web Apps, and Azure SQL.
Deep understanding of build engines and packaging tools including dotnet CLI, MSBuild, NuGet, npm, and Webpack.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI for automation.
