IDR is seeking a Software QA to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software products within a dynamic industry. You'll participate throughout the entire software development lifecycle, developing and executing comprehensive test strategies to uphold high standards.
Position Overview for the Software QA:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop detailed test plans.
- Design and execute various types of tests including functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end.
- Document results, investigate defects, and communicate quality risks across teams.
- Improve test coverage and automation processes independently.
- Support release-readiness decisions and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements for the Software QA:
- Experience in developing comprehensive test strategies based on requirements.
- Proven ability to design and execute automated and manual tests.
- Strong defect investigation and reporting skills using logs and payloads.
- Knowledge of risk-based testing methodologies.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively.
