IDR is seeking an Inventory Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Bolingbrook, IL. This role involves coordinating parcel shipments, managing proof of deliveries, and ensuring prompt resolution of delivery issues within a logistics and supply chain environment. Position Overview for the Inventory Administrator:
- Perform activities related to collecting and submitting parcel shipment proof of deliveries (PODs).
- Submit address reroutes and track escalated POD submissions to ensure timely resolution of guest escalations.
- Assist guest services with parcel transportation issues and communicate delivery information to carriers.
- Manage shipment exceptions, prioritize shipments, and oversee expedited shipments to meet service standards.
- Support tracking shipments and managing daily exceptions to uphold delivery performance.
Requirements for the Inventory Administrator:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Logistics/Distribution/Supply Chain environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of SAP; comfortable learning new software.
- Strong analytical skills and proven experience managing vendors/carriers preferred.
- Excellent organization and follow-up skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.
