IDR is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, TX. This role is focused on managing full-cycle recruitment processes within a dynamic, corporate environment, supporting both corporate and business teams with a strategic approach to talent sourcing and candidate experience.
Position Overview for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
Partner with leaders and hiring managers to forecast short- and long-term hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
Develop and implement innovative sourcing plans to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
Screen and interview candidates, assessing technical skills and cultural fit.
Collaborate with onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of recruitment activities to ensure audit readiness.
Requirements for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
High School Diploma and 4 years of talent acquisition experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of corporate or agency talent acquisition experience.
Extensive experience developing and executing sourcing/recruitment plans.
Knowledge of Boolean search strings, resume sourcing, data mining, and internet research.
Experience navigating an Applicant Tracking System and managing multiple requisitions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to travel as needed (up to 20%).
