IDR is seeking a BIM Engineer, Capacity to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you will lead BIM production and coordination across complex, MEP-intensive projects, ensuring models are accurate, current, and actionable for field teams. Position Overview for the BIM Engineer, Capacity:
- Run BIM production for assigned sites including model management, clash detection, and drawing extraction
- Maintain and govern federated models by verifying consultant uploads, controlling versions, and tracking issues to closure
- Lead weekly clash detection cycles, assigning and validating resolutions and providing clear reporting to stakeholders
- Produce field-ready deliverables from the model such as coordinated drawings, prefab packages, and as-built updates
Requirements for the BIM Engineer, Capacity:
- Proven experience performing BIM coordination on large, MEP-heavy projects
- Advanced, production-speed proficiency in Revit
- Advanced, production-speed proficiency in Navisworks, including clash detection workflows
- Strong model management discipline, including version control, structured uploads, and issue tracking
- Ability to create clash reports that drive resolution and accountability across project teams
