IDR is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role supports a fast-paced communications and public relations environment serving a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C brands across industries such as restaurants, franchising, financial services, and commercial real estate. You’ll lead day-to-day client execution and elevate visibility through strategic media pitching, exceptional writing, and thoughtful account planning.

Position Overview for the Senior Account Executive:

• Serve as the day-to-day lead for assigned accounts, managing client communications, updates, meeting notes, and follow-through to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop high-impact written materials including press releases, media pitches, alerts, talking points, award submissions, and performance reports.
• Pitch media and influencers with strong strategic perspective, timing, targeted angles, and consistent follow-up to drive measurable coverage.
• Conduct research that powers PR success, including media and influencer list building, editorial calendars, awards identification, and speaking opportunity tracking.
• Mentor junior team members by guiding task execution, deadlines, and quality standards while contributing to brainstorms and account planning.

Requirements for the Senior Account Executive:

• 4–6 years of PR or communications experience, including prior agency experience (required)
• Proven ability to lead integrated PR campaigns across both B2B and B2C sectors
• Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex stories
• Mastery of AP-style writing
• Preferred experience in food and beverage accounts
