IDR is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you’ll support the development, integration, and ongoing reliability of enterprise applications for a large, fast-paced organization in the technology and services space. This is a hands-on position where you’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to build solutions, troubleshoot issues, and keep critical systems running smoothly.
Position Overview for the Senior Java Developer:
- Design and develop technical solutions using Java and SQL for enterprise applications
- Support application development, integration, testing, and ongoing maintenance efforts
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including production-impacting incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver reliable solutions
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for specifications, processes, and procedures
Requirements for the Senior Java Developer:
- 6–9+ years of software development experience
- Advanced Java development expertise in a hands-on engineering role
- Advanced SQL skills, including building and optimizing complex queries
- Experience with enterprise application development, maintenance, and system integration/testing
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
