IDR is seeking a QA Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity (must be local to Austin, TX to pick up equipment in person). In this role, you will support the quality of web-based applications by developing, maintaining, and executing manual test cases for integration, data conversion, and system testing. You’ll work closely with business and QA leadership to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted and defects are tracked to resolution.

Position Overview for the QA Analyst

• Develop and maintain test cases for integration, data conversion, and system testing.
• Create and upgrade manual test scripts and execute manual test cases within HP ALM/JIRA.
• Review and analyze business processes and requirements in partnership with the Business Analyst.
• Identify, create, maintain, and test application defects using HP ALM/JIRA.

Requirements for the QA Analyst:

• Experience testing all aspects of web-based applications (UI, database, batch, and web services).
• Experience formulating test scenarios, creating detailed test cases, and performing manual application testing in a complex software environment.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and upgrading test cases using HP ALM/JIRA.
• Experience creating and maintaining defects using HP ALM/JIRA.
• Experience with MS Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.).
