IDR is seeking a CSV/CSA Lead Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Raritan, NJ. This role involves supporting a national commercial project within the manufacturing and automation sectors, focusing on validation and controls systems without mentioning compensation details.
Position Overview for the CSV/CSA Lead Engineer:
- Lead and execute validation deliverables across the lifecycle, including risk assessments, validation planning, and final reporting.
- Apply a risk-based approach to define validation scope and testing depth, ensuring compliance with GxP impact, patient risk, and data integrity.
- Author and review validation documentation such as compliance plans, risk assessments, RTMs, and test scripts.
- Validate PLC logic, SCADA/HMI functions, and interface controls, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Support audits and inspections by providing comprehensive documentation and evidence of control effectiveness.
Requirements for the CSV/CSA Lead Engineer:
- Experience in automation/controls and validation/qualification for regulated or quality-managed environments.
- Hands-on understanding of PLC/SCADA architectures, control strategies, alarms, and HMI design concepts.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to produce audit-ready validation evidence.
- Working knowledge of change control, deviation handling, and risk management.
- Experience with GxP environments and computerized system validation (CSV) / computer software assurance (CSA) approaches.
