Back End Java Engineer

Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
Location: Camden, NJ
C2C Pay Rate: $70/HR

Required Skills:

6+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience.
Proficient in:
- Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, JMS, UNIX, SQL
- SOAP & REST API integration
- Web services development and deployment using Tomcat
- Design patterns, Spring Framework
Familiar with front-end technologies like JQuery and JSP
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 8+ years of total software development experience.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with: AWS, Spring Boot, Apache Ignite, MyBatis, CI/CD tools, XML schema, Microservices
Familiarity with JIRA, GitHub
Agile development methodology
Background in the automotive industry a plus
