AWS Alexa Architect Terms: 5 month contract Target Pay Rate: $80/hr C2C Location: Remote Details: Day to Day Responsibilities: • Design and architect scalable, robust Alexa skills using best practices and design patterns • Lead the technical implementation of Alexa skills from concept to deployment • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team and perform code reviews • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and developers to create voice experiences • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Alexa skill architectures • Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues • Help with pass Alexa Skill certification Required Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Alexa Skills Kit (ASK) and AWS services (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Node.js, Python, or JavaScript for developing Alexa skills.
  • Strong understanding of conversational AI, natural language understanding (NLU), and voice interface design.
  • Ability to guide and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding and architecture.
  • Experience leading teams or working in a senior technical role.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot technical challenges during development and deployment.
  • Ability to optimize Alexa skills for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage development workflows.
  • Knowledge of Alexa certification processes and requirements, including creating skills that adhere to Amazon’s certification standards.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation best practices.
