IDR is seeking a Azure SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join one of our top clients for a 100% remote opportunity. If you are looking for an opportunity to join a large organization and work within an ever-growing team-oriented culture, please apply today! Responsibilities: 
  • Plan, execute, and manage data migration projects from Oracle to SQL Server, with a focus on Azure SQL.
  • Analyze and optimize the performance of SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server databases within the Azure cloud environment.
  • Monitor database health and performance, manage backups and recovery procedures, and ensure database availability.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience working as a SQL Database Administrator with a focus on Azure SQL.
  • Strong experience with data migration projects, specifically from Oracle to SQL Server.
  • Expertise in SQL Server performance tuning and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and SQL Server architecture.
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
  • Experience with tools and technologies such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and other ETL tools is a plus.
