Enterprise Architect – Dynamics 365 CE & F&O Locations: Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta or New York Schedule: Fully onsite 5 days a week
IDR is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead a multi-phase digital transformation initiative centered around Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Service) and F&O (Finance, SCM). This architect will design and govern the enterprise platform, ensuring integration with modern data platforms, AI tools, and external systems across B2B and B2C operations.
Position Overview / Responsibilities:Define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy across D365 CE & F&O environments
Oversee re-platforming efforts from AX 2009 to Dynamics 365, supporting both B2B and B2C
Design seamless integrations with Shopify, Espresa, Paymentech, SendGrid, and Databricks
Architect and guide Dual-write implementation between CE and F&O for real-time synchronization
Enable AI capabilities through Microsoft Copilot for customer interaction summaries and forecasting
Govern architectural standards across POD-based delivery teams and ensure alignment with end-state enterprise design
Architect secure, scalable structures supporting 10 legal entities and global operations
Integrate Dataverse and Power BI for analytics, insights, and dashboard reporting
Collaborate with change leads, data teams, and development teams to ensure cohesive delivery
Represent architecture function in steering committees and review boards
12+ years of enterprise architecture experience, including 5+ years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE & F&O
Deep knowledge of D365 modules: Sales, Service, Finance, and SCM
Strong experience with Dual-write, Dataverse, and Microsoft Copilot
Expertise in Azure Integration Services, Power Platform, and Databricks
Experience leading large ERP/CRM transformation and platform modernization initiatives
Sound understanding of enterprise integration patterns, scalability design, and security governance
Excellent collaboration, documentation, and architectural leadership skills
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert
TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
Familiarity with AI/ML integration and customer data platforms
Experience with IPPD 365 or equivalent delivery frameworks
