Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Claims Processor:

- Ensure the timely and accurate posting of cash transactions, payments, adjustments, manual denials, insufficient funds, and general ledger transactions.

- Investigate and resolve payment variances to ensure appropriate reimbursements. - Utilize LEAN methodology to improve efficiency. - Process refunds, adjustments, write-offs, and balance reversals in compliance with regulatory timeframes. - Assist in training and mentoring team members, and help cross-train peers in minor responsibilities.

Required Skills for Claims Processor:

- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).

- Cash posting experience required. - Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and general business procedures. - Understanding of consumer collection and billing rules/regulations. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and internet research. - Flexibility and a cooperative work approach.
