Position Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, helping to design and implement solutions that adhere to the highest cybersecurity standards. You'll work closely with mission engineers to develop and secure infrastructure, ensuring its security and compliance with federal policies. Your expertise will support a variety of tasks, including vulnerability analysis, risk management, and ensuring all systems are secure and resilient.
Required Skills of the Cyber Security Engineer:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

Active TOP SECRET Clearance required

IAT Level II Certification required
- Strong background in security engineering and knowledge of cybersecurity technology and DoD/Federal cybersecurity policy (e.g., DoDI 8500.01, NIST SP 800-53, etc.)
- Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Cybersecurity Lifecycle, including:
- Identifying controls and overlays
- Generating testable requirements
- Resilient architecture design
- Configuring, running, and scripting audit tools
- Providing analysis of vulnerability assessments
- Conducting verification testing for compliance assessment
Knowledge of Software Assurance (SwA), static and dynamic code analysis (e.g., Fortify)
Preferred Skills of the Cyber Security Engineer:
- Experience with Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration
- Background in working with virtual environments
- Familiarity with dockers and containers
- Experience administering ACAS and ESS (formerly HBSS)
- Prior experience with ConfigOS
