Senior Test Lead - Automation & QA Engineering

Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
C2C Pay Rate: $55.00

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary testing contact for assigned applications, ensuring thorough coverage and timely delivery of quality assurance processes.
Lead and manage multiple testing teams, coordinating manual and automated testing efforts.
Drive test strategy development, test planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring alignment with product and business goals.
Design, customize, and maintain robust automation frameworks for both API and UI automation.
Execute automation scripts and ensure proper integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Review, refine, and enhance the overall test process, introducing AI-driven automation solutions and tools such as GitHub Copilot.
Promote best practices in testing methodologies, code quality, and defect tracking.
Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams for seamless project execution and issue resolution.
Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in test automation and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

10+ years of overall QA/testing experience, with at least 3–4 years in a Test Lead role.
Strong expertise in test design, test strategies, and test execution.
Hands-on experience in both UI and API automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, etc.
Ability to develop, customize, and implement automation frameworks.
Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and experience integrating automation into build pipelines.
Familiarity with AI-driven automation tools and experience using GitHub Copilot is a strong plus.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Java, JavaScript, and Python.
