IDR is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in Denver. This role supports the finance team of a reputable organization within the construction and engineering industry by managing invoice processing, vendor relationships, and day-to-day accounts payable operations.
Position Overview for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
Manage invoices and purchase orders using AvidBill and NetSuite (future state Procore).
Process a high volume of invoices, including scanning, coding, and resolving discrepancies.
Assist in transitioning vendors to ACH payment methods and maintain accurate vendor records.
Contribute to month-end close processes and reconcile vendor statements.
Support process improvement initiatives and ad hoc financial requests.
Requirements for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
1-3 years prior work experience in accounts payable or related finance roles.
Strong analytical, creative thinking, and communication skills.
Experience with invoice management, coding, and payment routing (ACH, checks, wires).
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively.

Compensation Details: $63,600 - 69,960 per year
