CONTRACT
IDR is seeking a Windows Server Administrator to join one of our top clients for a long-term opportunity in Suwanee, GA.
Position Overview for the Windows Server Administrator:
Manage and support physical and virtual servers within a large enterprise environment.
Perform server maintenance, troubleshooting, and system updates to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with a team of Windows Server administrators to implement security and disaster recovery measures.
Assist with scripting automation and scripting in PowerShell to streamline workflows.
Maintain expertise in storage, networking, and virtualization technologies to support infrastructure needs.
Requirements for the Windows Server Administrator:
Must have AZ-104 OR AZ-800/801 Certification
5-7 years’ experience in Windows server administration in a SERVER environment (specifically server-side, not operating systems)
Experience with Scripting in PowerShell
Experience with virtual AND physical servers
Experience with SQL clustering
Experience with VMware and Hyper-V
