IDR is seeking a Platform Security Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in any of the following locations:

Dallas, TX OR  McLean, VA OR Memphis, TN. This role involves leading security architecture efforts for customer-facing platforms, including web, mobile, APIs, property, and payments systems, impacting millions of users worldwide. The organization is a leader in the hospitality industry, focused on delivering secure and resilient digital solutions.

Position Overview for the Platform Security Architect :

• Lead the development and review of security architecture for customer-facing digital platforms.
• Collaborate with delivery teams as a Product and Software Security SME to ensure secure solutions.
• Design security requirements, architecture patterns, and controls to mitigate common threats such as account takeover, data exposure, and injection flaws.
• Define, maintain, and evolve security reference architectures, standards, and guardrails for APIs, identity management, and cloud security.
• Engage in governance and compliance processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements for the Platform Security Architect :

• 7+ years of professional work experience in Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of software development, solution, or enterprise architecture experience.
• Experience in product security, solution architecture, customer identity and access management, cloud security, or cryptography.
• Strong knowledge of customer identity and authentication technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, and AWS IAM.
• Understanding of cryptography fundamentals and solutions for online fraud prevention.
