IDR is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity remotely. This role involves practical SharePoint site maintenance and basic site configuration, supporting internal teams through a short-term engagement. The organization operates within the technology services sector, focusing on collaborative platform support.
Position Overview for the SharePoint Administrator:
- Responsible for repairing existing SharePoint sites, including fixing permissions, libraries, and page issues
- Create and modify SharePoint libraries and pages, ensuring basic functionality and organization
- Work closely with internal team members to implement quick fixes and practical solutions
- Maintain focus on site troubleshooting, ensuring sites operate correctly during the engagement
- Prioritize rapid problem resolution to support ongoing business needs
Requirements for the SharePoint Administrator:
- Several years of SharePoint experience with hands-on site repair and basic configuration
- Experience in troubleshooting permissions, broken libraries, and rendering issues
- Proficiency in creating and editing modern SharePoint pages with out-of-the-box web parts
- Ability to organize and clean up messy or inherited SharePoint sites efficiently
- Comfortable working in a “get it working correctly first” environment with quick turnaround
