Title: Lead PostgresSQL DBA Location: Nashville TN – 100% Remote, Preferred local candidates  Term: 6 month contract + extension (Client reserves right to hire after 6 months) Rate: 65/hr MAX Please note:

Requirements: •            Minimum of 10 years of strong and relevant experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator, specifically for large scale applications. •            Extensive experience with AWS RDS Postgres, including setup, configuration, and management. •            Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, configuration, and administration. •            Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience developing and reviewing complex PL/pgSQL functions, procedures, and other database objects. •            Extensive experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques. •            Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming. •            Familiarity with database security best practices. •            Experience with backup and recovery strategies. •            Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. •            Excellent communication and collaboration skills. •            Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •            Flexibility in working hours to support global teams and critical database operations. •            Must have experience in production system monitoring and incident management processes. •            Must provide after-hours on-call support. •            Experience in designing database schemas, access patterns, and locking strategies. •            Experience in conducting performance analysis and capacity planning. •            Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Bamboo, Github, Jenkinks).
