IDR is seeking a QA Tester to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading testing efforts for system enhancements and maintenance releases within a government project, ensuring quality and functionality through comprehensive testing strategies.
Position Overview for the QA Tester:
- Lead functional and integration testing efforts for system enhancements and maintenance releases.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
- Design and create test data to support various testing scenarios.
- Execute manual and automated testing to validate system functionality and performance.
- Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Requirements for the QA Tester:
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) and software testing experience.
- Strong experience with functional testing and integration testing.
- Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation.
- Experience testing applications built on Java and/or Salesforce platforms.
