Java Full Stack Developer (React JS)
  • Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
  • Location: Chicago, IL
  • C2C Pay Rate: $62/HR
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy robust full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS that align with business requirements and technical standards.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Spring Boot applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services to support integration across enterprise platforms.
  • Build responsive front-end components and user interfaces using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to participate in software and architectural development activities throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Leverage Unix and Windows scripting to support automation and backend workflows, including CyberArk AIM for secure credential management.
  • Utilize tools such as Jenkins, Trident, Docker, Nexus IQ, Gradle, and SonarQube to manage CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack application development using Java, Spring Boot (REST API, Batch, MVC), and ReactJS.
  • Strong expertise in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript ES6+, Bootstrap, and responsive design principles.
  • Solid experience with backend development and RESTful API integrations using Spring frameworks and JPA/Hibernate.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and working with Oracle databases for enterprise data management.
  • Experience developing Unix shell scripts and Windows batch scripts for automation and backend processing.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules including OIC, Procurement, Accounting Hub, and Contracts.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, Trident, Docker, Nexus IQ, and SonarQube.
  • Experience with source control systems like Git or SVN and deployment environments like OCP and PCF.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe, and ability to work effectively in fast-paced development teams.
