D365 Customer Insights Data & Journeys Implementation Specialist Terms: 6+ month contract Target Pay Rate: $75/hr C2C Interview Process: 2 rounds Work schedule details: Remote Location: Prefer someone in the CST or EST time zone Overview We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Data & Journeys Implementation Specialist to support an immediate, in-flight implementation. This role is highly hands-on and focused on building, configuring, and delivering a Customer Data Platform (CDP) using D365 Customer Insights. The ideal candidate has real-world implementation experience, not just advisory or high-level design exposure, and can step in quickly to configure the platform and drive the solution forward. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead hands-on implementation and configuration of D365 Customer Insights – Data in an active project environment.
  • Configure and manage data ingestion, unification, and customer profile creation within the Customer Data Platform.
  • Build and configure Customer Journeys to support targeted, data-driven engagement use cases.
  • Perform end-to-end platform configuration, including data sources, entities, relationships, and business rules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into working D365 Customer Insights solutions.
  • Support testing, validation, and refinement of configured solutions to ensure data accuracy and usability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues related to platform configuration and data flows.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven hands-on experience implementing D365 Customer Insights – Data in real projects.
  • Strong experience configuring CDP solutions, including data ingestion, unification, and profile enrichment.
  • Hands-on experience with D365 Customer Insights Journeys configuration.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and configure the platform, not just provide guidance or oversight.
  • Experience supporting implementations in mid-project or active delivery phases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources into D365 Customer Insights.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem and Power Platform.
  • Prior experience supporting customer data or marketing automation initiatives.
