IDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Mableton, GA. This role is within a leading organization specializing in electrical and low-voltage system projects across various industries, providing critical electrical solutions for diverse construction sectors.

Position Overview for the Senior Electrical Estimator:

• Lead the preparation of accurate cost estimates and bid packages for electrical and low-voltage systems including security, structured cabling, audio-visual, and nurse-call systems
• Perform take-offs from drawings and conduct site visits to assess project constructability
• Collaborate with preconstruction teams, clients, general contractors, and design teams to develop comprehensive estimate plans
• Manage and forecast costs for projects, ensuring bid accuracy and competitive positioning
• Submit RFIs and identify constructability concerns within estimate packages

Requirements for the Senior Electrical Estimator:

• Associate’s degree or higher
• 7+ years of experience working as an electrical estimator
• Experience estimating projects of more than $20 million in healthcare, industrial, or mission-critical sectors preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical installation, repairs, materials, and code requirements; unlimited electrical license is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Trimble AccuBid Anywhere, and LiveCount; ability to read engineered drawings and wiring diagrams
