IDR is seeking a Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA. This role involves leading data infrastructure projects within a company focused on BI and analytics modernization. The position offers the chance to work on impactful data initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview for the Data Engineer:

• Design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines from source systems into the enterprise data lake
• Implement and manage data lake architecture, including data storage formats and lifecycle management
• Develop and optimize ELT/ETL processes for transforming raw data into curated datasets
• Support the creation and maintenance of data warehouses, including schema design and performance tuning
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data structures support reporting and analytics needs

Requirements for the Data Engineer:

• Experience working with modern cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Synapse
• Strong SQL skills and thorough understanding of relational database concepts
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines and working with data lakes and data warehouses
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and storage options like AWS, Azure, or similar environments
• Experience with data integration tools, scripting, or orchestration frameworks
