Functional QA Tester

Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
C2C Pay Rate: $55.00

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive functional test plans and strategies.
Perform functional testing of software applications to identify issues and verify functionality.
Record, document, and track defects and outcomes using appropriate tools.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues.
Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes.
Create and maintain test databases and test environments.
Ensure software aligns with business and user requirements.
Provide clear, concise testing reports to both technical teams and management.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Functional QA Tester or similar role.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and project management principles.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and experience with regression testing.
Proficiency in documenting and troubleshooting software defects.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or Appium.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
