Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic Operating Room team. In this vital role, you will assist in surgical procedures by ensuring a sterile environment, preparing instruments, and supporting the surgical team throughout operations. Reports To:
OR Nurse Manager or Clinical Supervisor
Schedule: Full-Time | Day, Evening, or Night Shifts (depending on availability)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes.

Assist surgeons and other team members during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.

Maintain the sterile field and monitor for breaks in aseptic technique.

Count instruments, sponges, and supplies before and after procedures according to policy.

Handle specimens properly and ensure accurate labeling.

Assist with room turnover, cleaning, and prepping for the next case.

Participate in performance improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control protocols.

Communicate effectively with surgical team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Uphold all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Certification:
-
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience:
-
Prior experience in an acute care hospital or operating room preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and OR protocols.

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
