Position Overview/Responsibilities for the OMS Team Lead:
- Oversee the team responsible for the development, deployment, and optimization of OMS solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Design and implement scalable OMS solutions that support retail operations, enhancing order processing, inventory management, and customer service.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and operations to integrate OMS with other systems (ERP, CRM, POS) and ensure seamless functionality across platforms.
- Establish best practices for OMS development and implementation, optimizing system performance and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring OMS initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.
- Identify and recommend enhancements to existing OMS processes, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Required Skills for OMS Team Lead:
- Minimum of 7 years in OMS architecture, design, and implementation, specifically within the retail sector.
- SME in IBM Sterling development and architecture
- Proficient in OMS platforms, such as IBM Sterling.
- Proven experience leading technical teams, with strong project management skills and the ability to guide cross-functional projects.
- Deep understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, order processing, and omnichannel capabilities.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
