IDR is seeking a Tester to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Tallahassee, FL. This role involves supporting a new project for the State of Florida, focusing on ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through comprehensive testing processes. The organization operates within the government sector, emphasizing reliability and compliance in software solutions.
Position Overview for the Tester:
- Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts and test cases
- Conduct end-to-end testing on software applications across multiple environments
- Utilize test automation tools to compare actual results against expected results
- Identify, document, and log defects and issues in the test management/defect tracking system
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements for the Tester:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience developing, maintaining, and executing test scripts and test cases
- Hands-on experience performing end-to-end, regression, and functional testing on software applications
- Familiarity with test automation tools and methodologies to validate actual vs. expected results
- Experience logging, tracking, and managing defects in a test management or defect tracking system
