• Analyzes and evaluates performance and scalability across multiple system tiers, focusing on the data tier in both cloud and on-prem environments.
• Identifies performance bottlenecks, proposes solutions, and simulates user/system traffic to assess component behavior.
• Optimizes code, queries, and system configurations to enhance response time, scalability, and resource efficiency.
• Analyzes Oracle wait events, AWR data, and system behavior, generating reports to predict system performance under full load.
• Conducts root cause analysis on performance issues, forecasts future performance needs, and communicates findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  Required Skills for the Performance Engineer:

• 8+ years’ experience Analyzing and evaluating application performance across multiple tiers
• 8+ years’ experience with Oracle wait interface and event analysis
• 8+ years’ experience with Performance tuning of large Oracle databases in AWS (50+ TB)
