MOD / SRE Engineer

• Ongoing contract  (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
• Location: Chicago
• C2C Pay Rate: $55/HR

Required Skills & Qualifications: - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). MOD will need to provide periodic updates to DFS stakeholders on all critical issues. These updates need to be informative and crisp. - Should have experience in production support. Should know how to drive production issue calls (RRTs), engage right parties during the call and provide updates to client during the call. - Should be comfortable working in odd hours (outside business hours, weekends, or holidays). Issues can happen anytime, and expectations are MOD should be present in all critical calls. - Should have experience leading a team. MOD will need to coordinate with multiple vendors at onshore and offshore and gather critical information. Should have background on Problem management, change management and Issue management. - On Technical aspects, DFS MOD is expected to have knowledge in monitoring tool (Datadog) and Service Now (to track tickets, changes). Knowledge on scripting language like Python is a plus but not mandatory. - Should be able to create reports on Adhoc basis and present to stakeholders as and when asked.
