Position Overview for the Security Systems Technician:
Collaborate with HR: Participate in new employee and physician onboarding events to issue ID badges and handle same-day reprints for lost, stolen, or damaged badges.
Badge Record Management: Set up and provision badge records for new hires, transfers, and terminations, including manual data entry for records not integrated with WorkDay.
System Integration and Troubleshooting: Upload daily employee badge information to WorkDay for Kronos integration, process badge expiration changes for non-employee groups, and troubleshoot ID badges with downstream systems.
Special Projects and Reporting: Manage large volume badge printing for nursing school cohorts, provide badge transaction reports to HR and other departments, and handle special projects related to badge production for vendors and contractors.
Required Skills for the Security Systems Technician :
Educational Background: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required, ensuring basic academic skills necessary for the role.
Relevant Experience: At least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in security systems, ID badging, or a related field, demonstrating the ability to handle the responsibilities of the position effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with ID badge systems such as C-Cure 9000, Lenel, Brivo, AMAG, and Genetec. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ID badge systems.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical information to non-technical staff and customers. Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally and courteously with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective solutions during challenging interactions.

Compensation Details:$21-$24/hr. W2. NOT OPEN TO C2C.
