Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Purchasing Coordinator:

• Deliver procurement services for both expense and capital purchases, ensuring timely processing of purchase requisitions and orders. • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, manage vendor data in SAP, and maintain inventory levels. • Support sourcing initiatives, supplier enrollment, and compliance requirements, while contributing to cost-saving projects. • Provide training on procurement processes and assist in continuous improvement projects. • Offer analytical support and maintain data integrity, ensuring effective oversight of supplier information.

Required Skills for Purchasing Coordinator:

• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or a related role, with a focus on indirect or direct materials or services. • High school diploma or equivalent; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to maintain productive relationships and engage with colleagues at various levels.
