Summary: We are seeking a Functional Manual Tester to support a large-scale State Integrated Eligibility System (IES) modernization initiative. This role is ideal for someone who has worked on state Health & Human Services modernization projects and understands integrated eligibility programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, CHIP, Child Care, or other public assistance programs.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform manual and functional testing for new system enhancements
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Validate business requirements against system functionality
• Execute integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using JIRA
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience performing manual and functional testing
• Must have experience supporting a State Integrated Eligibility System (IES) modernization project
• Experience working on state Health & Human Services initiatives involving programs such as:
  • Medicaid
  • SNAP
  • TANF
  • CHIP
  • Child Care
  • Other integrated eligibility programs
• Experience creating and executing:
  • Test scenarios
  • Test cases
  • Test scripts
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Functional testing
• Strong understanding of eligibility business processes and modernization efforts
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects
• Experience using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
